This Privacy Policy is incorporated in and subject to the Terms and Conditions of the Guardian Fantasy Football 2008/2009 competition (the "Competition"). By registering to enter the Competition on the Guardian FF website, you expressly consent to the use of your Data in accordance with this Privacy Policy. For the purpose of the Competition and your use of the Guardian FF website, your personal information will be processed on our behalf by CleverTV Limited of 4th Floor, 36 Spittal Square, London E1 6DY ("CTV") We collect personal information about our users during registration for the Competition and from our use of "cookie" technology as you use the Guardian FF website. We will also collect personal information about you if you answer our surveys, fill out our questionnaires, and when you report a problem with our site. If you contact us, we may keep a record of that correspondence. We use your IP address to help diagnose problems with our server, to administer this website and to gather broad demographic information. We do not link IP addresses to anything personally identifiable. This means that a user's session will be tracked, but the user will be anonymous. Except where you have not agreed that we may contact you for promotional purposes (or where you have asked us not to contact you for these purposes), you agree that we can hold your registration details so we can invite you to participate in the 2009/2010 season's football-related competition or tournament (if any). The data that we collect from you will be transferred to, and stored by, CTV. The data we collect from you will be processed by CTV's staff and CTV and its staff will process the data we collect from you for the purposes set out in this privacy policy. By submitting your personal data, you agree to this transfer, storing and processing. CTV will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this privacy policy. Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to our site; any transmission is at your own risk. Once we have received your information, we will use strict procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorised access. The Guardian FF website uses reasonable precautions to keep the personal information disclosed to us secure and to disclose such information only to third parties we believe to be responsible.
